In 2016 Las Vegas had this great temporary art installation called the Life Cube. It was a big two-story wooden cube in an empty parking lot that people could walk up to and write or paint whatever they wanted to on it for a few weeks, then in a big ceremony they set it ablaze, kind of like a mini Burning Man festival. I am horrible with a paint brush, so I decided to make a few pieces and hang them there, knowing full well that they would be melted into oblivion. They took about an hour each. The burn was really cool.
