This is my most complicated piece so far. The frame is an industrial air-conditioning filter I found in an alley, and the tiki idol I got at the Fairfax flea market in Los Angeles for 10 bucks. Altogether this was about 100 hours of work. A lot of the pieces had to be individually painted gold, copper or silver. Moving this thing is a nightmare because it is so heavy, awkward and delicate. It gets a lot of attention when shown at art shows and galleries.
