So a way long time ago I used to play bass in this band, and for whatever reason I ended up playing all the notes on the low E string. So I figured I'd make a bass just like that - one string, fretless. It uses an acoustic guitar pickup that's bolted right on to the string, so it also acts like a piezo pickup. It sounds and plays pretty good for what it is.
